18th and 19th September 2010, The Royal Berkshire Show The Royal Berkshire Show, also known as The Newbury Show, is at its permanent showground by junction 13 of the M4 (north of Newbury and west of Reading). The show includes the Berkshire Pig Breeders Club Champion of Champions, sponsored by our Society. Judging will be on the morning of 19th September and a number of Society members usually attend this enjoyable event. For more information please click here. 13th to 16th October 2011, The Wodehouse Society Convention, Detroit, Michigan, USA This is advance notice of the biennial convention to be held by our sister society in the US. Contact details can be found in the June 2010 edition of Wooster Sauce, with fuller details to follow at a later date.
28th October 2010, Society Dinner at Gray’s Inn The Society’s biennial formal dinner will again be held at Gray’s Inn, London. If you have been to a Society dinner before you will want to place this in your diary now and await fuller information in Wooster Sauce in due course.
